Will taxi's let you bring most kinds of stuff, if it fits in the boot (maybe with lid open) or can fit on back seat.

I've brought guitars and basses to gigs several times in taxis before, on the back seat and in the boot depending on the driver so I'd say you'll be grand.

Did me back in once and just requested a mini bus instead of a car, they had no problem with it. You could ask for one
