SRAM Apex Powerglide Chainring - Broken Teeth?

    Hi there
I took delivery of a new commuter bike yesterday - Eastway ST1.0.
After setting it up I noticed that the chain didn't look to be seated properly on the big chainring. There are 2-3 very jagged looking teeth - as per attached photos. Having researched a little, I see that selected Powerglide chainring teeth are supposed to be a bit flatter, but one tooth in particular looks like it has been flattened by a hammer!
Is this a fault, or design?
I've emailed Wiggle for their opinion.

    Thanks
    Conor

I found wiggle/swimcyclerun/prendas excellent to deal with any of this stuff.

Send them photos and ask for new chainring

I've already got a holding response from them - quite polite. So, that's promising then.
    Thanks
