Good morning folks,

The door catch went on my dishwasher recently which I replaced

When I restarted the washer it runs for about 10 min then stops

I googled the prob and it days to blow into the air sump which I did

It has made no difference

Any ideas

Ps. No error codes just a stop

Hi Joey,

The door catch operates a Microswitch in the door, you could possibly of moved the switch slighty causing it to just stop, some catches are adjustable.

Thank you for your reply. Would the micro switch loose not stop it working all together. It seems to work for 10min then stop

Yes your right but I was just thinking that it could be an intermittent thing.

How did you get it going ??

Could it be leaking ?? There is a leak sensor in the sump that would shut it down if it is leaking, once the water seeps away the machine would function again.

Nah I don't think it's leaking although I did blow through the sump as suggested earlier. It stops but will run again if I reset it.

Can't see it being the catch as it always stops 10min in on every program
