help with form 11s

    hi,

    i'm a first time tax payer and have to fill out a form 11s that i received from revenue. i've tried the help sheet that came with it and even ros help online. but no joy.

    i work for a charity that pays me a salary without any deductions and no expenses. i have 2 questions.

    1. i presume i'm paying income tax. so which section of the form do i enter my earnings into for the purpose of calculating my tax liability?

    2. what reliefs can i claim (travel expenses, maintenance, etc.), into which section do they go and do i deduct them from my gross earnings to calculate my final (net) tax liability?

    any help appreciated.
