Changed from Iphone to Andriod not recieving texts from Iphone users

Recently changed to Android, not receiving texts from Iphone users, they are automatically sending as Imessages so Im not getting my messages and have been left high and dry!
Any ideas how I can get this sorted?

Contact Apple Support. They can remove your phone number from the iMessage service if it is registered.

You need to login to your Apple ID account (Not your icloud account) https://appleid.apple.com/

On the left hand side click on phone numbers and delete your number listed.
