    I really enjoyed reading that article. Very interesting, and impressive results. He comes across as a pretty capable engineer.

    As the restoration requires an investment in new parts, it costs no more to replace worn out original parts with different technology. I’m not counting my labour, because I’m doing it for fun and to learn.

    When I saw the title I thought it was going to be another 'daysel' conversion but that chap certainly knows his stuff and doing it as a hobby / challenge is certainly interesting. That full underbody skidtray might help on long runs along with a bit of lightening (=more noise?) elsewhere.
