Air Corps helicopter landing

Something very odd just happened, I live about a mile from the Curragh (Newbridge) pretty much right on the flight path from Baldonnell. About an hour ago the Air Corps helicopter circled my house and landed in the field beside my house. An army guy came driving down the road at a bit of a rate, parked up, bopped the fence and left with them. They flew up to the Curragh and a couple of mins the helicopter returned to baldonnell.

Does anybody have any idea what this could be about?
Not sure if this is sensitive info many mods can delete if they think so

Yeah seen this happen while I was out running on the curragh, the army were parachute training and cloud cover lowered and wind increased the parachutists were fairly scattered and one seemed to come down in the newbridge direction,
That's were the helicopter seemed to land.
    Exciting stuff watching it unfold.
