Cheltenham festival accommodation

Lads hoping someone can help me on this...... Organising a stag to cheltenaham in march 2015, just wondering if people can recommend one of the nearby towns to stay in (obviously cheltenham itself is too expensive). Gloucester looks to be pretty expensive also so currently looking at somewhere like tweeksbury but if anyone…

Try Bristol, approx 40mins from Cheltenham by train (plenty of trains chelt. week both before & after racing).

I stayed in Bristol last year. It's a great spot. Last train back is about half 12 or so. Not ideal but you can get a hostel for cheap
