Calf Farms

    well lads we're looking to buy 3 or 4 black whitehead calf's soon (around 3-5 months). But we dont have time for marts of a trailer to buy direct of farms, so any of ye know any places around roscommon that deliver.
    I already know about clare-hill livestock in meath any one have any thoughts on these?

    Go on done deal and buy direct from a farmer would be my advice. Cut out the middlemen and their possible diseases

    Most marts can provide a delivery service for an additional charge. Ask your local mart about prices.
    If you are buying from farmers in your area then most of them would be geared up with a trailer and could deliver or they would know some local guy who could deliver to you.
    Just ask them if they can deliver to yours and how much it would be.
    To be honest on 3 or 4 weanlings its not going to break the bank.
