I have just started a web design course, I would like like to know if there is anyone in the Portmarnock area who might be prepared to give me some tuition in the basics of HTML and CSS.
I have some understanding of the basics but I need to get a better understanding of the basics so that I don't lose track of the method.
Obviously I don't expect it to be free, and I am only free in the evenings Monday to Thursday. If there is some-one in the area maybe I could PM a mobile number to tie it down.
    Thanks,
    parkman

Surely HTML and CSS will form the basics of any web design course?
Will you not learn on the course?

What Zipppy said, but on a side note, use www.w3schools.com to help you.

Codecademy is where I learnt my HTML, CSS and JavaScript.

Once you know the basics there's not much else that can be taught to you, you just have to try working on some stuff.

Thanks for the replies. I have bought a book entitled "HTML goodies" which starts at level zero. I am sure that this book is very useful as an addition to the course that I am doing.

The point of the post was that I had hoped that there might have been some-one in the Portmarnock area to give me extra tuition, nothing about needing to attend a course, but to help with the course content.

I am well aware of the various course in the various colleges, but being new to web design I find that I am falling behind on some of the items.

However, I am fairly sure that I can catch up again, now that I have bought the web design book.
