    Hi
I have a painting one of only a few commissioned which hung in my granny's house for 100 yr +
It maybe worth 10 euro or 100 or more.

Where would I get it valued?

Do they charge much to value them?

    Thank you

    Is it signed?

    List of auctioneers here: http://collectireland.com/auctions-2/

Most auctioneers won't charge for a valuation - especially if they think that they may get the sale.

Didn't see Adams listed when I checked that site - just thought might be helpful to the op as I had an item valued last year on one of their free to the public days. :o

Is that the one opposite the Shelbourn side entrance. They valued a painting for me in the past for free. It was small enough and I just dropped in. Nice guy brought in in the back to show the others and came back with a price. Would say they do it n a regular basis but worth a try.
