I'm a primary teacher so could give you some teacher related gift ideas...i always get a few jokey teacher presents like a huge eraser or an extra long pencil. Nice stationary or unusual stuff I got a funny usb key might work. I also got an itty bitty book light from once of the kids in school, he bought it in tiger the shop (you'll find tonnes of novelty and unusual gifts there) and it's great for non kindle reading. Another practical one is a travel mug as I know in our school for health and safety reasons we are not allowed to bring mugs of tea/coffee to the classroom apart from in these. And finally a nice glove hat and scarf set for winters yard days and also for general day to day.

I think Boots are great for stocking fillers- they do a little lip gloss wrapped up like a candy cane etc.
If she wears make up or nail polish, you could have a sneaky glance through her make up bag and get her usual shade of lipstick/face powder or her favourite nail polish colour.
Practical things like one of those little mini tins of Vaseline or a pack of hair bobbins or clips come in handy, because things like that always seem to disappear, so it's handy to have more.

If she has a pay as you go phone, you can't go wrong with a couple of top ups.

The make up idea is great, she rarely wears any but is constantly complaining of not having any.

Boots are brilliant I agree I know number 7 brand have a cute set for doing eyebrows twisters included for under 13.00, if she suffers with sore feet from being on her feet Dunnes Stores do these socks for 3euro in the beauty aisle there meant to leave your feet so soft,

I love getting sweets from my childhood like refreshers or drumsticks, they take me back

I think you are on the right track my friend having purchased her presents already.
Think outside the box too, or inside the box, i.e. jewelry, a ring or something similar, always says 'I Love You'

How about a voucher from Amazon? Then she can choose the books that she will like.

I'm hoping that there'll be a voucher or two in Santa's bag for myself this year. :-)

Post it notes, socks, chocolate coins, a monthly magazine, multipack of nice pens, revolution eyeshaddow palette (they're a brilliant dupe for the expensive urban decay palettes), scratch card, baby lips lip balm, nice notebook.

I see you're in the middle east, is your gf teaching there?
