Administration grade IV

I've come across a job that is described as administrative support grade I, and I don't seem to be able to find a definite answer as to what this means in terms of salary, and to get an idea of what level it's at. Any ideas from you? It's public sector btw.

Last time I saw that, it was a college job. I googled the college name and the grade and found a webpage on the college site where another job was being offered at the same grade. The offer on that webpage had the salary amounts written on it.

Thanks but yeah I should have said I did that and nothing. Searching for grade IV all I get it those old college positions. I did find one circular that gives grades, and there is a Grade IV but I'm not sure if that's it.

Probably is. Next thing I'd do is try and find the newest version of the circular for the dept/office. "Circular" and "Salary Scales" along with the name of the previous circular you found on google might do it

I think a Grade III is the entry grade for an admin worker in the HSE with a leaving cert and secretarial skills. Grade IV is the next Grade up.

Seems odd that grade III would be entry grade.
