Pre-tests are very helpful - it will highlight areas you need to work on and prepare you for the actual test conditions

Do as much driving as you can, around the area where your local test centre is located. If you post here, where it is, odds are people will be able to tell you what are the most common routes for the tester to take you on test day. Each test route and test centre has its own quirks and idiosyncrasies. The more experience you have of driving in the area, the better.

Just don't get in the way of people being tested.

    Roundabouts
Slow down well in advance and come up to the roundabout in second gear. testers love this! Very Large roundabouts third is fine
Check top and left mirror and indicate coming into your exit

Instructor asks you to pull in(Hill start)
Plan in advance, check top and left mirror and indicate. Ideally in second gear. When pulling out right indicator, top mirror and right mirror and check blindspot.

    Turnabout and reverse around corner
Blindspot and mirrors again. Always look out the back window when reversing. Automatic fail if you don't
Remember when both are complete to turn on right indicator, check mirrors and blind spot

Turning left or right on road.
Plan in advance. Check mirrors and indicate. Always go down to second gear and stop if needed.

    Carrs parked in housing state.
You need to be a door widths away and always check your right mirror going around them!

Don't rush anything take your time at roundabouts, turning right, left, reversing around corner and hill start. There is no rush!! Only time you have to keep up with the speed limit is on a straight

The Limerick test centre has a 56.6% pass rate according to this.

You could always do it in Ennis. It's not that far from Limerick & it has the second highest pass rate in the country, at 68%. Only Tuam's is higher
