the worst was the behind the goal replay of the last Bray chance. It wasn't rain drops but water streaming over the lens.

    Anyhow come on City!!:)

Dundalk to do the treble over Cork next week.

Yere still favorites in my book but we will see. Great season for city regardless. I still can't quite believe we have a chance of winning the title this season.

One of the great things about LOI is its never so predictable.

I was just remarking that to my mate on the way to Oriel last week. There must be 8 or 10 clubs which won the league in the last 20 years (you can include Dundalk next week). Including some like Shels who subsequently got relegated. Wouldn't happen in many other countries.

I know. Most of my mates hoped for city to get top four but would have been expecting 5th or 6th and here we are getting ready to thrash Dundalk to take the title!;)

No doubt an Ireland fan who hates the English - but has tears streaming down his face at the pub watching his 'beloved' Burnley while screaming 'we', 'us' and 'them' in a put on Cockney Accent.

That's not true Sean Maguire is from those parts and is one of Accrington Stanley's finest.

It's a valid opinion. If someone disagrees with your POV it doesn't mean they're trolling.

He goes on to a thread about Monday Night Football just to wind up people.
If he's not interested, why comment?

I'd rather watch a League of Ireland game in the rain than an English Premier League game in the sun. Sure, the standard in the Premier League is vastly superior, but the opportunity to watch raw talent is special. I've seen many players in the League Of Ireland before they ventured to the land of mega bucks such as David Forde, Shane Long and Kevin Doyle.

This year I saw the names of the future playing for newly promoted Galway United FC most notably one Ryan Manning (who sat his Leaving Cert in June) who has scouts watching him every week. He is sublime.

There are people who crave glamour by association for some form of self-validation, and then there are people who genuinely love the game of association football. Easy enough to spot which is which in this country.
