Was in scotland recently and seen an ad for the Roxan Tag faster device, im a new poster here so cant add the link,

does anyone know if compatible tags for this device or a similair alternative are available here?

Id buy one, I find tagging espicially with the EID sets takes way longer than it needs to, with every set being individually wrapped in plastic

Quicktag in ballycastle do them +44 (0) 28 2076 8696 I spoke to them about them at Balmoral, and although there's no mention on their website they do Irish eid sets for the tagfaster.

Does anyone have experience of actually using them? Do they work or do they buckle like some of those types of tags do?

I use the quicktag tagfast, but don't find it great for tagging ewes or stronger lambs, works well on lambs when they're born but find the tags a bit lightweight for lambs for slaughter, with the odd tag having to be discarded as it won't line up after several attempts..

Having 2 taggers helps speed up the job no end

My biggest issue is the sheep turning their head at the last second and ending up with a wasted tag and missing the ear completely .
