I think he is more than just a Stone Cold Mark 2 to be honest. Think he is a great mix between Austin and Pillman. Won't stop until he gets what he wants but also pretty much unhinged. Absolutely love his character and really hope he gets a good push in the next year.

The man has the "it" factor. You hang on his every word and every action. He's the total package. Great look, insanely charismatic, mic skills, he can brawl, he can wrestle, he can do high flying spots, he bumps like crazy. He has the same quality Jake Roberts had, what to do, what to look like, what to say and how to say it every time.

But there's more to it then that. He has a mystique to him, he brings an old-school philosophy to wrestling that is all but dead. He lives his character, we know NOTHING about Jonathan Good. It's all Dean Ambrose.

That makes him absolutely unique and fascinating.

And everything he does spawns 100s of hilarious memes. :pac:

So yeah, i'm an Ambrose mark and I have been for years.

I think all three Shield members are really overrated but he's definitely the stand out. I'm an occasional viewer at best now but normally watch the main segments.

Can't deny his popularity though so it's clearly me in the wrong.

I'd say Reigns is definitely overrated but Ambrose and Rollins really aren't. Rollins is drawing insane heat and Ambrose gets mad pops. Also, they are both very good at there different styles. They are great to watch and I'm looking forward to a great match in the Cell.

Ambrose , as he is now, will never be Stone Cold mk 2 or anything approaching that because he doesn't connect with the audience. Sure he's cool and his actions are entertaining but people can't relate. With Austin he was acting out people's dreams, flipping off the boss, fighting the power and being a general badass. Ambrose's current character is, at it's basic level, a deranged, obsessed borderline mental case and as entertaining as he is, people don't want to relate to it or live vicariously through him so until he evolves and , sad as it is to say this, becomes more vanilla and acceptable he won't have a chance of reaching Austin level popularity.

Exceptional point. I pray the writers dont see that though you may have ruined him it for everyone

Disagree. Ambrose represents the everyman better then Cena/Daniel Bryan or whoever ever has imo.

And the reactions he gets, he's obviously connected with the crowd.

Anybody who's at all edgy is labelled the new Stone Cold. I don't see any similarities Tbh. Pillman yeah, Stone Cold Dean Ambrose, I dont think so.

Everybody argues otherwise but I think PG is a major drawback. It doesn't have to be AE shock tv but WWE dialogue is cringeworthy most of the time.

There's potential fans born everyday and most adults outgrow professional wrestling so I doubt it'll change any time soon.
