Specifically 06 Honda Civic (8th gen) 1.4 petrol rear right brake disc backing plate!

Can't find it on Micks Garage, Google just returns American sites.

Where else are good for buying parts online?

Try misterauto. Failing that main dealer would be your best bet.

Thanks, no luck so far. Trying to avoid main dealers as they're likely to charge through the roof but may be the only option.

if you have to go main dealer compare price with Northern Ireland dealer.

Mazda Xedos CV joint assembly local €950 NI €450

BMW sunroof seal local €30 UK dealer €15

Ring the main dealer and check the price. A scrapyard is another option but may not be worth the hassle unless they're big money new. That part in particular may not be in good condition SH and you might only save 15 quid.

I would say a brake disc backing plate would be very small money even off Honda, who really know how to charge!

The part may only be €15 new! I know that a brake disc backing plate for a Mk5 Golf is around €8 so even allowing for the Honda factor it shouldn't break the bank.

Shopping in the UK the UK has massive savings.
    I recently got the following
    4x stainless steel brake hoses inc.fittings 70e delivered, 4 here 150
    4x drop links 65e delivered ,60 for just 2
Full poly bush kit 180 delivered,285 here

I usually use the bay UK :) instead of the .ie as it shows way more
