Doing two different college courses?

Most courses are 4 years long so 2 college courses would amount to 8 years. Initially I would have thought this to be crazy to do. However if you look at lots of professions you are a good long time before you become fully qualified.

This seeams a little random? What 2 are you thinking of doing? If they are completely different, how will you gain anything for either by doing both? o0

The second one could work out fairly pricey if you don't qualify for grants/fees.
