Can anyone tell me how sore crown prep usually is on a molar? I've to get one tomorrow morning, and I've not booked the day off, and had planned to play football at lunch, but i'm now wondering will i be a bit wrecked afterwards. It's been a while since since I've had anything done and the last time i got a filling i was in agony for a few hours.

It's not a full crown, and I've to get some of the filling that was in place removed, so hopefully it won't be too bad?
