    Hello all!

Thought I'd share this with you all: Make your own softbox for under €35

It's a brief guide I've written up about making your own Softbox for under €35, as you might've guessed. I'd been annoyed at the sites that said you could make your own softbox/beauty dish, only for them to later mention you'd need an angle grinder/welding equipment, etc., so I decided to make one using nothing more technical than a plastic box, gaffa tape and cable ties!

    Hope it helps you!

Great results from the sample images, and very well written/described.

For anyone not into the DIY side of things, I recommend clicking through anyway - you might be inspired enough to give it a go.

I have Nikon D3300 and it does not seem to have a slave function, does that means things like this Softbox are useless to me until I upgrade my camera or is there some other way??

    Thanks.

You can get wireless triggers for your flash, so you could use it then. That's how I use it. The Nikon CLS system is pretty limited, I don't know many people that use it anymore. Radio/wireless Triggers are the way forward!

Most people getting into flash seem to start with Yongnuo triggers. You can pick up the old 602 triggers and transmitters for next to nothing on eBay these days. If you need any help getting set up, just ask - I'd be happy to help!
