Sony a7r

I'm looking for any recommendations for the Sony a7r. I currently have the Sony a65 and would like to take the leap to full frame if my wallet permits it :)

I was in Conns yesterday and was asking about using the A Mount lenses on the a7r and they said you can with the adaptor. Would I get away with using my Alpha lenses or should I realistically get rid of them and buy the lenses designed for the a7r?

I use the Sony HVL-F42AM flash on my a65, would this work on the a7r? I've done a Google search and can't seem to find an answer, probably because the flash was discontinued about 3 years ago.

I'd like to hear from anyone who has the a7r and your view on it :)
