I personally would go for Playa Blanca if you're going to Lanzarote. Classier place then PdC and less hectic and a great selection of restaurants.

Costa Sal in Matagorda is nice. Fantastic pool, great bar and restaurant on site and less than a fiver each way in a taxi if you want a wider selection of pubs/clubs.

Plus you're a couple of mintues walk along the prom in either direction to some more decent places to eat/drink. It's a lot quieter around there than PdC, but, as I say, cheap enough if you want to go mad for a night to taxi in and out.

Don't get how PB is "classier" though. Having stayed in both PDC and PB, I prefer Matagorda. I find both other resorts to be pretty much the same.

IF you're looking for class, I'd recommend Puerto Calero.
