Interview + clothing

    Hiya, thanks in advance.

This may sound like a silly question!

I got a call today, inviting me for an interview (woo!). The day he originally wanted me to do the interview (Saturday), I'm working, which I explained, so we've arranged for me to do the interview straight before I start work tomorrow.

He knows I'm coming in directly before work.

    Clothing is a slight issue.

My work uniform consists of a black, below the knee skirt, black tights, black heels and a logo'd top.

I won't have time to change before work, not even in a bathroom :o

Would the black skirt, tights, heels and a nice blouse and black blazer suffice? I can throw my work top on over them on the bus to work :pac:

Is that 'smart' enough, or will I look really unprofessional? I've never been to an interview without wearing a suit :o

It's a restaurant job, in case that changes anything :pac:

Yep sounds perfect. Along with being neat and tidy. Good luck.

Neat and tidy will be a given, I'm required to have make up and styled hair in work. For once, I'll follow that rule :pac:

I've just never not worn a suit to an interview, even for min wage jobs, so wasn't sure a blouse, skirt, tights, heels and blazer were appropriate.

Thanks for the swift answers :)
