Crashing Cars for education

I’ve just had another day out on the road observing people driving like idiots.

The thought came to me that if people experience what a collision in a vehicle is actually like eg: the noise, the impact, the shock etc, I reckon it would make a lasting impression for the better. Maybe using cars due to be scrapped crashing them in controlled situations make it part of the learning and education process. Anyone who has experienced an impact even low speed rarely forgets the experience
    ….any opinions out there?

I had a tip 4 years ago. My fault, was turning right, early morning on coming car had no lights on etc.

Will never forget it and it has completely changed the way I drive.

Not a bad idea at all, especially for the idiots who constantly speed etc

You know I had a very very very close call during the week. I was turning the corner at traffic lights and a blind man with a white stick was crossing the road right on top of the corner and I nearly wasnt able to stop on time. Its completely changed my view on driving. I absolutely hammered the breaks. Everything in the car went flying. Laptop went into the windscreen. Hot coffee went everywhere. The guy behind me was too close and he swerved out onto the far lane and nearly collided with a lorry. It was a serious wake up call. Like Ive heard people say before.... put everything into the boot and always kept saying 'yeh good idea must try it sometime' but fcuk that.... if that laptop had have been a few inches more to the right I was in serious trouble.... definitely would have been looking at skull fractures or brain damage :O
