issue with simular company name having negative impact on serp

    Hi guys looking for your thoughts on this. Basically I have new customer who wants site however he was thinking of rebranding as a company with super simular name in the same business sector was done for selling military parts overseas.

    If a customer searches for company then they see these negative news articles which obviously will effect business.

    Two of the main platforms the news articles are on are main Irish news providers so would be hard to dilute ser. Any ideas on what approach to take on this.

    I have already asked news platforms to add note regarding non association but if anyone had recommendations or have experienced something like this previous, please let me know.
