    Hi....

So I'm 22,single with no responsibilties. Just lost my job but still getting paid next week for the month of October. So with that paycheque, plus some savings I have, I'll have about 1.5 - 2 grand in the next week or two

I could spend that on normal things until I find another job, but I'm kinda thinking of maybe just doing some travel with it and forgetting about real life for a little while!

Any ideas what I could do for that amount of money?

Not just a regular sun holiday, some kind of back packing adventure somewhere as completely different and far away as possible!

I'm open to any suggestions really

Go on Skyscanner.com select Dublin to Everywhere for the month of November and the world's your oyster :)

Europe this time of year has cheaper flights and cheaper hostels so I reckon you could see a lot with your budget but the weather won't be great and possibly quite cold.

Flying to South East Asia or the likes will eat up at least 30 - 40 % of your budget, not sure if that's a great idea but that depend on how long you plan on being away for?

Have you a set time frame in mind?

Hi, we've been going to vietnam for 2months a year for last number of years, outside of flights we live on between €2k to €2:5k for the two of us for the two months thats hotels$10/hostels$5 travel food+beer(so cheap) and day to day living, its so easy to get around on the night buses and if your the sociable kind youll meet up with loads of backpackers on the way(better off staying in hostels for this).
Flights from ireland are just over €600 at the moment wit Malaysian airlines go through trailfinders for this as they will book your seats for free which is handy, get your visa online cheaper than going through embassy in london.
    Hope this helps happy travels.
