Saorview sky remote backup button problem

    Hi, staying in a house not ours the last two weeks and having a problem whenever I press backup on the sky remote when viewing saorview.Basically get a black screen,source is still set to TV but saorview bar across the top with channel name etc is gone.TV station shows but only way to change station is to input the number,up/down doesn't work and same blank screen with a different station number I've input. I've managed it three times now, only copped the last time that it was the same thing doing it. Hitting backup again does nothing.

    First time it was working the next day and the last time tv switched off while we were watching sky (no card so just a couple of non terrestrial stations ),switched itself back on with saorview reinitialised. Bit bizarre and a bit stumped. Don't have saorview at home so unfamiliar with it.

    Anyone come across this before? Guessing saorview is received through either the TV itself (sony lcd,model is a kdl) or the sky box,as I said not at all familiar with it so any help appreciated.
