Sure is cheap but I suspect it will be painfully slow with 512mb RAM. I would view 1gb RAM as a minimum these days.

I was thinking that myself but as a content consumption or even just for children or older people I'm sure it'd suffice.

I'll let ye know anyway when I get it in a months time!:pac:

    only dual-core, too.
Horrible screen also, very limited storage, crap cameras.

All in all, stay well clear.

Buy a kindle fire if you want a cheapish tablet. Dual core and 512MB of Ram is a waste of money.

battery is only 2000Mah, wouldn't even last the hour on a game.

For the person I'm getting this for none of this will matter, it'll probably sit in the drawer for months on end anyway!

Plus a Kindle Fire starts from about €100 that's a good bit more than €40!

Potential customs on top of that though will probably bring it closer to €60.

Its just not worth €60, or even €40 to me.

It just wouldn't do anything i'd want from it. I'd be surprised if this was even usable for netflix, screen and battery size alone.
it really has nothing going for it.

There's a chance Customs will get it but I am quite doubtful to be honest, in my experience they tend to go for the most costly items.

I'll let ye know once I get it how it runs but I'm sure it'll be grand!

I bought a similar one from T-mart and had to upgrade the battery, it wouldn't last 20 mins. May have been faulty but be warned.

Rubbish tablet with poor specs,a quick look on the likes of Aliexpress will find much higher spec ones for not much more.

I bought one on some offer about 2 months ago. It's fine for me as I never had one before. Great for learning etc. I love it :)

AlanS181824 and anyone else looking to buy this tablet or similar... just a heads up before you pull the trigger on it.

I got a similar rated tablet to the one you are looking at a few months back and here is an honest review of it.

The 7 inch screen is okay - not great but okay, turn it left or right of your straight on view and you lose the screen.

The 512mb/dual core is one major problem... i had very few apps on it and no memory hogging apps, but it is just so slow in opening apps and it bogs down on the simplest of tasks. I can easily count to five or six out loud before an app opens when clicked! its painful most of the time. Tip is to look for at least quad core and minimum of 1GB internal memory if going for a tablet nowadays.

The battery in these is so so crap its not even funny... they will say it comes with a 2000Mah battery, but it more like 700 to 900Mah. i opened up mine, measured what the maximum dimensions inside that i could fit a bigger battery and head onto ebay and got a higher rated Mah battery delivered for 11 euro and replaced the crappy battery. Way better now, and i can get about 4 hours of netflix/game playing on it.

Mine came with a front facing camera only... its rubbish and reminds me of real old webcam grainy footage.

I thought it was a bargain at the time... 42 euro delivered, but i got hit for 15 euro import fees/an post fees so it ended up costing 57 euro.

If the same tablet was online now for only 20 euros, i wouldnt buy it to be honest. It spends most of its life now in a drawer and is rarely taken out to be used (angry birds every so often)... to tell the truth, my kids dont even want to use it now as its so painfully slow. If i had to search for something online and i didnt have my phone with me and my only options were this tablet sitting on the kitchen table on and ready to go versus my laptop in its laptop bag and needing to be taken out and switched on, i would go for the laptop as the firefox browser and the built in browser on the tablet is that crappy and slow!

I was looking for a cheap tablet and was going to get one from China, but decided I couldn't wait that long for delivery and I came across a seller on ebay selling refurbished Nooks for £47 + free shipping (to parcel motel). I got a Nook HD for my sister last year and it's a great little tablet, if you can live with the lack of a camera. For this sort of money, it's a steal.
