Has anyone tried paddle boarding and how does it compare to kayaking..
I currently use a sit on top, Tootega Pulse kayak, mainly for surfing medium size waves plus a bit of flat day touring too...
However SUP ing has turned my head would thi be a fad, or is just better and more fun that kayaking?

Is sit kayaking that much more fun than sit on top then?

Yes totally you have much more scope in a kayak than in a sit on top one.

Like more control of your craft?
What type of kayak do you recommend for a bit of paddling up and down rivers harbours and possibly a bit of beach surf play?
