Blueface Caller-ID with multiple numbers

    Hey,

I'm trying to figure out how to use any of out available Blueface phone numbers as the outbound caller id. We have several different 01 numbers with Blueface - Each used for a different purpose - Incoming calls work great, everything is routed down a single SIP account/trunk to a PBX (Asterisk), and directed from there to the right place.

The trouble comes with outbound calls - Blueface appear to ignore any of the standard(-ish) methods of setting the outbound caller ID with sip - namely the P-Asserted-Identity and Remote-Party-ID SIP headers. Blueface's web interface allows for setting the outbound CID of a SIP Account, but does not allow creating multiple accounts - i.e. one for each phone number - so that appears to be a non-starter.

Has anyone experienced and worked around this?

    - Kiall

You'll have to email Blueface. They'll create a SIP Account for each DID.
