    Just a thought, watching 24 hours in police custody. Can we not just rid society of these people.

    Or, instead of killing people who are attracted to children, we could kill people who rape children.

    And instead of killing them, we can jail them for long periods of time.

    In the United States, it costs more to execute someone than to jail them for the rest of their life. The legal fees involved in execution cases are higher than prison costs.

    Ideally we should find a way to figure out what makes the brain go that way, i.e. makes them attracted to kids, then find a way to fix it.

    They're usually segregated for this reason. Especially in American prisons where 'lifers' with nothing to lose would gladly shiv a nonce to gain respect and move up the inmate hierarchy.

    I think maybe we should have a reality TV show...something like The Running Man, to deal with them - with a downloadable interactive app for everyone at home to join in on the antics.
