Looking for a rough idea on the cost of conversion to oil from LPG ?
I read here that the Grant Vortex was the boiler to get. Supply and fit boiler, tank etc.
    Thanks for any replies.

Would you not consider upgrading your gas boiler and heating controls?
A rough cost on what you want would be around 3500

Thought oil would be cheaper over time. Thanks for the info.

Prob not. If you were to upgrade your heating controls and add TRV's then the modulation capabilities of a modern gas boiler would make your system much more efficient.

LPG is still quite expensive compared to oil - see below (second page):

Although of course Dtp1979 is correct - TRVs, controls etc. are your first port of call to make most use of the current boiler - you could then replace lpg boiler with oil when it comes time to replace it
