DAB in Ballincollig Cork

    Just moved into Ballincollig and was surprised not to be able to get any DAB reception.

    Auto tune states it finds 11 channels but then states station not available when I try to tune into it.

    Anyone else in the area have any problems with DAB?

    Hi,
    Do you know what mux this is? Is the RTE mux or the DB Digital trial mux?

    I was trying to get RTE. But can't seem to get anything.

    How would i find out what mux?

    Does your radio show the name of any of the 11 channels? If they are any of the state services (RTE1, RTE2, Lyric ect...) then thats the RTE operated MUX.
    If you see UCB, Zenith, Sunshine, Rira ect... thats the DB Digital trial MUX.

    Sorry yes seems to be just RTE channels
