    Wild Boar are not technically an invasive species though. They were hunted into extinction centuries ago. So really this is just a reintroduction of a native species.

    Well apparently they are not the same species but are a feral pig hybrid, possibly released intentionally by hunters.

    I prefer them with drop - tusks.

    More comfortable to ride in an aero position.

    Just back from Poland were I enjoyed some delectable wild boar cooked by the mother in law. Freaking awesome meat!

    Actually came across a young stag trapped in a mesh cycling through woods last autumn on mtb. Cycled home for rifle and shot him.

    Gave meat to my neighbour, poor animal was very stressed wouldn't have been to tasty

    Hunted into extirpation? They were extinct locally but the species continued to exist elsewhere.
