    Hi guys,
My head is spinning here. Looking like I am about to break up with my wife. We have two kids aged 3 and 2.
I have read all the leaflets etc but still very confused. I earn a low wage ( under 20k a year)
I am just wondering about my rights as a seprrated father? Is it 50-50?
What about things like toys, buggys etc who gets them?
Does anyone know roughly how much mainteance would be fair? I come out with roughly 325 a week but I am going to have to buy a car and move home for a while now to save up to afford my own rented accomodation. Would It be worth putting my name down on a housing list? I wont have any where to mind my kids as parents house wouldnt be great place for kids overnight as we dont have stairgates etc....
Sorry for long message just desperate for help and it is becoming overwhelming :(

Mate take a step back and try and deal with this as objectively as possible.

Its may look huge now but millions of men have gone through this and come out the other side. No matter what happens try and keep your head.

The legal side of things is not your first port of call, but you should talk to a family lawyer if you have concerns (house ownership etc). Do not listen to internet legal advice. (it wont be given here anyway)

The Parenting forum may be a good sounding board for you

All through the process try and do whats right for your kids and you should come out the other side ok.
