I'm currently in 6th year, and preparing to undertake the Leaving Cert in June.
Due to some circumstances, I'm only taking 6 subjects, English, Maths, Irish, Geography, History and Business Studies. 4 of these subjects I'm quite good at, and I feel I won't have any issues when it comes to getting points, but I've noticed with pretty much every course, you need 6 passes. I feel I can get 5 passes, but Irish is a big problem for me, I can't understand any of it. I feel I'd be better off taking another subject up, as I just can't see myself getting a pass in Irish, luckily, the courses I want to do don't require Irish. What would my options be when it comes to this? I'm only looking for an ordinary level pass.

Economics would be a good one. The course is very short and since you only need a pass, you could leave out a lot of it.

OL Applied Maths is easy enough to pick up in a year if you like maths or physics.
