Hi I'm having a problem with my boiler it won't kick in unless I push the boost button?

Then once on it will last about 40 minutes cuts out and I have to press boost again for it to come back on.

    Any ideas what's causing this?

Is the boost button on your timer or are you pressing the reset button on the boiler?

What timer do you have. Usually the boost button lasts for an hour

The blue light is on on the boiler but the green light next to the flame won't come on unless I press boost, even with the timer set the light for central heating on the timer will light up but the noting will happen until I press boost

I'd say problem is with your timer not the boiler.

Should I reset the timer to factory settings and see it that works?
