Did it last year. Small event, maybe 100 or so last year. Nice group as did it on my own and found everyone v friendly, and lovely route. Well organised. Route changed this year. Mostly on very good roads.

No rain , but what a bloody wind .
Well run event , got in with a good group of lads and everyone took their turn to break the wind at the front which made it kind of bearable , although i lost them with about 15k to go as a lad in front of me bonked and decided to suddenly stop so by the time i made sure he was ok the rest were gone , so i decided to spin the legs for the remainder.
The only real downside today was i noticed 2 broken spokes and one loose one.
Totals for the day are -
distance : 108.4km (including the cycle out to it , got a lift home as spokes broke)
    time : 3hrs 34mins
    avg speed : 30.4km/h
