Bought a pair of these a couple of months back and have worn them 15-20. After yesterdays brutal round I noticed they have split along the seam.

Just wondering was this common place out there?? as I m not sure to change them for something else.

    Cheers

Had a pair of those adizero lasted about 8 or 10 rounds before they split on the seams like that Op. Only use them now for summer golf, at that they're nowhere near as comfortable as Dryjoys imo.

Had the 6 spike version and began to leek after 6 months. Have the 8 spike tour version for about 6 months now, far better made, I really doubt they will leak anytime soon.

had the 8 version..went to American golf (live in UK).
The guy in the shop how some courses have banned the 8 spike version due to damaging the green.
I play society golf mainly and play a number of those courses. So opted for the nike lunar. Not great choice this time of year before launch of next years models.

Always looked like a cheaply made shoe to me, nothing substantial in them and now on sale for €35 from sports direct........take them back to where you bought them and ask for a refund

there is a 2 year warranty on most Adidas shoes, bring them back with the reciept or proof of purchase and they will be replaced for you or you could change to a different model/brand.

It seems like a recurring issue for Adidas. I went through 4 pairs of Adidas Tour's, first the tour 4.0 they were replaced by the Tour ATV's and i got a few weeks out of each of those. Very comfortable shoes but the sole cracked for me every time. Eventually i switched to the Nike Lunar shoes which i haven't had an issue with. And i picked up a pair of Ecco Biom Golf on sale over the summer.

To be fair, American Golf swapped the Adidas shoes for me every time without any hassle.

I have had loads of Adidas shoes and have no issues. I'd say easily my favorite shoe I currently own is the Adizero but they are a disaster with cleat wear. Ashworth's cardiff adc is a great shoe too and fully waterproof.

I don't think you can just own 1 pair of shoes; I like swap depending on the course or conditions.

You can be unlucky with any shoes, i just brought back a 8 month old pair of footjoy XPS1 , the sole cracked inhalf on the right shoe, brought them back to mcguriks and got them replaced on the spot for dryjoys tour
    Great service from mcxguirks

I have a pair of Adizero tours. They are very comfortable but i think they are leaving in water. Will know for sure at the next round in rain.
However, the biggest problem for me is the damage they cause to the greens - its almost like wearing football boots. I feel i can't wear them in winter due to the soft greens.

The Adizeros isn't a matter of luck. My sons split after a month and my local pro said he had to send about half of them back for a refund. Added to the whole issue of damage to greens and they have been an unmitigated disaster for Adidas

Nice Pics of the damage they cause

I had a bad experience with Adidas shoes as well. No protection in wet weather whatsoever. Brought them back and to be fair to the shop they changed them for me. Only problem was that the next pair were just as bad. Ended up chucking them out. Moved back to Footjoys, best decision I ever made.

Thanks for all the feedback guys.
Seems like my issue was not a one off.
The guy in American golf when I asked about footjoy DNA he said stay away from them due to issues with the gel in sole cracking.

Have mine about 9 months now, the bloody soles are cracked on both, going back to footjoys.
Has anyone returned them because of this cracking I don't have a receipt unfortunately!

Adizeros are a disaster alright. Bought two pairs of them cheap a while back. First pair started losing studs after a couple of rounds. Brought them back to the shop and the guy put on a new set of studs in for some bizarre reason, instead of just dumping the shoes. Did it for free so I went along with it. Couple of rounds later, I'm down another four or five studs.

Onto the second pair, a different colour but the same model, and they're working fine so far. Played about five rounds though all in soft conditions. I suspect as soon as the ground hardens up they will start snapping off again.

I thought these were being banned in several clubs recently

They were banned in Concra Wood anyway. Didn't hear of anywhere else in Ireland though a few UK courses I think have banned them too.

I have seen them for sale in shops as a six stud with middle stud on the sole gone..
