Didn't miss it at all. And if it's plumbed properly then the pump isn't essential for the lighting of the fire. It should heat the cylinder at least. If the pump is working then it'll heat the rads

Looked at it on the phone. Slightly obvious when you zoom out properly

Ok , the story is , just moved in a few weeks , then heating oil ran low so got a refill and downstairs rads and one upstairs stopped heating up
Bled the them and upstairs rad heats ok but cannot get the 3 rads downstairs to warm up . One rad ( closest to burner) seems like it completely full of air on one side ( its a double) even taking the screw out it only air coming . I cant get up to the header tank ( if there is one) and i bled the burner . Just want to know im not gonna blow the anything

    You have a header tank.
Keep bleeding the rad till water comes out, it can take a while, be patient and don't remove the screw fully.
Sounds like the pump is not working.
    Call the landlord.

Lit a fire this morning as the kiddies would freeze, rads upstairs boiling but nada downstairs.
Will try to keep bleeding but bled for 20
    mins and just air !

Leave it off till you get the landlord to get someone to have a look at it.
So much air and no pump is dangerous with a back boiler.
Not much more advice we can give I'm afraid.

Don't bleed the rads when the fire is lit as the pump could be running and could potentially be sucking air in and not bleeding it. It sounds the same but difficult to tell which way the air is going.

Was begining to think it was sucking air in because of the time it took bleeding but didn't think it could !
No problems with the back boiler ( its heating upstairs rads) just trying to heat these bloody downstairs ones :( !!!

Is there a zone valve turning off downstairs. Take pics of the hot press pipework

Or a circulating pump acting up.

True but why would upstairs heat. I doubt the rads are piped gravity circuit

Would be common enough for upstairs to heat like this, especially seeing they are not competing with downstairs.

Also, if you are bleeding the rads thought that had to be done while there cold.
