Bkool Trainer Opinions / Experience

About to purchase my first trainer and hoping for some advice.

I'm a casual / recreational cyclist, couple of runs each week, maybe 90-100 miles typical.
Had been planning on the MTB for the winter nights but looks like time isn't going to be on my side this year.

Like the look of the Bkool with it's multiplayer support, reasonable price to buy and monthly payment that can be turned off in the better weather.
No worried at all about the accuracy of the trainer for power levels etc.

Any thoughts on the Bkool, what's the software interface like, any other recommendation in this price range < £400, etc?

Same as myself. It's in the cart with my finger hovering over the button!

Dcrainmaker put up his latest review of it last week.

I almost bought it last night. What would sell the deal would be gpx or similar output.

Dcrainmaker thinks it's great but could be better as the competition has caught up. The ant user profiles may be a game chaner but they haven't sorted it yet

A quick Google tells me that it can export in fit, gpx etc but some tweaking is needed to show route on export to strava etc. (second post).

I ended up going for a cycleops fluid pro and I'm using it with trainerroad.

This is my first trainer and I've not 'trained' before so decided the structured guidance from trainerroad was of more benefit than the social / real routes of the bkool and similar systems.

I have the bkool classic and love it, great routes and can go out on a spin and import it into the trainer. Racing someone else is excellent and it's nearly as hard as the road. Interface is a bit clunky to get through but overall the experience works really well
