Paypal problem anyone get this error

i dont have a credit card on my account, i have a bank card/visa debit, is this the problem do you think?

i emailed paypal about it

It should not be the fact that it is not credit card.
Try next day. Also, go through all of your account details - sometimes something completely inconspicuous triggers the transaction to fail, like problem with address.
If it doesn't work, try contacting paypal.

I'm trying to put through a payment for flights with a visa debit card and I'm getting this;

Your card payment could not be processed due to one of the below reasons. Please review the below issues and go back to the previous (Payment) page and resubmit:

You have mistyped the card number or some of the digits are missing go to the previous (Payment) page and resubmit.
The card type selected (e.g. Mastercard, Visa, Visa Electron) is invalid for the card number provided go to the previous (Payment) page and reselect.
You have incorrectly entered the card number into the cardholder name box or vice versa go to the previous (Payment) page and re-enter.
The billing address is incorrect- go to the previous (Payment) page and re-enter, ensuring the billing address matches the address on your card statement.
Please note that if one of your travelling companions has the same name as you, you will need to include Snr. or Jnr. in the surname of one of the passengers. Alternatively if you are booking two extra seats you should name them as Extra Seat 1 and Extra Seat 2.

Tried yesterday - and same. Tried different machines/locations and 2x browsers. No dice. And of course, the bloody flight price has gone up 10 quid :-(

I can assure you that this is a standard procedure for all payments going through PayPal.



The only recommendation I can give you is try sending the payment at a later time.
