Hi. My son got a new Sony Xperia M. The device says there is 2.05 GB storage available. He is trying to download an app that requires 80 MB but the phone is telling him there is insufficient space available. Any ideas please ???

Download the "DiskUsage" from Google Play. It'll show you what is on the disk(s) ...

If you still can't free up some space, add a microSD card (max 32Gb).

Depending on the apps installed, some of them will have the option to store files on the card, thereby freeing up the internal memory card. e.g. Camera (not all camera apps). Movie & music files could be moved to the sd-card.
