Issue with new graphics card

I bought a few new parts including an Asus R280 GPU, everything else is working fine but when I try to use the new graphics card I get the 1 long beeps with 3 short beeps to suggest that there is something wrong with it. I updated the BIOS and uninstalled the 5770 drivers but it still happens. Any ideas on how to fix it? Motherboard is an Asus P8P67-M PRO.

Are both power leads connected securely?
    If so try re-seating it.

What is your power supply and is it up to the job of the new gpu?

Double check all the pc connections and ram is seated fully in case you knocked something while swapping out the cards.

Errr both? Only had the 6 pin connected, put in the 8 pin as well and its now installing drivers. Thanks for that and let us never speak of this again :pac:
