TV/FM sockets

    Hi
Recently moved home and am about to get my TV viewing sorted.

I have 3 TV points in the house which are double sockets - 1 with TV and with FM on. What does this mean (ie FM is not for a radio I guess)?

    Thanks
PS it's a new build if that helps

FM is for a radio. Doesn't necessarily mean there's an FM aerial on the house, or a TV aerial for that matter. Probably just the wallplates & cables.

    OK thanks Thurston
So if I was getting Sky Plus where you need 2 cables would I need to do more cable chasing?

How many cables are behind each wallplate?

Sky+ or Freesat+ requires 2 satellite feeds to each TV point, Saorview can be piggy-backed on 1 of the satellite feeds if required.

Is that so? I hope to get around to mounting an external antenna for Saorview (current setup is internal and it cuts out a bit when sun is directly in path). I already have a Sky dish. Do I simply need a splitter at both ends? It would sure beat drilling another hole in the wall.:)
