Winter Rain jackets Advice

As we are now getting into the thick of it regarding winter weather and riding I need something to prevent me from being soaked to the skin and near hypothermic every weekend from here on in.

There are rafts of options for winter jackets/combinationsand I’m wondering if anyone has any experience of any of the jackets below or any advice on the best option etc.

I'm skinny and therefore get cold quickly on the bike. Purchased a short sleeved gabba last year which was superb in spring and currently but will not hack long winter training rides where Kellys old adage of decide if the weather is to bad for training after training will apply.

I think a good waterproof jacket will suffice as if I can keep relatively dry I can layer appropriately underneath rather than have one thick bulky jacket which makes temperature regulation more difficult.

I wont say that price is not to be considered and have ruled out the ASSOs jackets as the cost is just barmy but I am willing to pay a hefty enough sum to ensure a bit of comfort for the winter and to double for my commute (and hoping to get a few years out of it).

Friend has recommended the Sportful Survival Jacket, expensive but seems to tick the boxes and has proven testing in the form of Sexy Tinkoffs Bank backing. Anyone else have experience with it?

Similarly price wise and functionally are the GORE oxygen range.

Anyone who has as them seems to gush over Rapha products but then anyone who can afford them is really not going to consider them anything less than awesome now are they. Anyone here worn the pro team rainjacket? Other option being the city rain jacket which is on sale at themoment and would double as my commute jacket that can probably be worn as an off the bike jacket when I get there.Dunno if it would hold up on nasty training rides though.

I would think that all the above when coupled with the gabba and/or base layer would be sufficient for the worst of weather we will no doubtedly get but if anyone has experience of any of the above and why one is better than the other (or not) then advice is appreciated! Given the cost I woud rather get it right.
