Upstairs downstairs heating zone broken

    Hi

In my house there is a normal light type switch beside the heating timer that controls the heating for upstairs and downstairs. Two switchs one for turning heating on/off upstairs one for downstairs. Has stopped working the last while though, at the moment the heating is on in the full house even though the switch is off for downstairs.

Is there any simple checks I can do to see what might be wrong?

And if I do need to call someone is it an electrician or a plumber?

    Thanks

You will be better off calling a Plumber who understands heating controls and how they operate.
