Hi all, I'm just wondering what your thoughts would be on this camera for a complete amateur. I'm heading to NYC soon and was going to purchase it over there after some research. It's 500 dollars so I would really appreciate any advice.

You couldn't go wrong with that. It's essentially the same price from Amazon Uk also.
