Anyone have any good experiences with a locksmith in Dublin? Mazda were looking for an eye watering amount so I took a chance on an ebay switchblade style fob and I bought a new blade for it that I will need cut

I can program the fob myself (if its the correct one) but I will need the transponder in the key programmed. I will probably also get a standard non transponder key for opening the car in emergencies etc

Anyway can anyone recommend someone that is good value and would be prepared to do this kind of messing. Would a main dealer even entertain programming a key they didn't supply?

I've got a few car keys cut buy the guy in the little shop in the Nutgrove shopping centre. Found him polite and helpful even when it took 3 keys to get the one for the Levin right :)

Ha sounds like the kind of patience he'll need for what I need done. I presume he can do the transponder as well?
